Chapter 1995 Just Do It For The Views:>Ep4
- Riley's happy expression turned a bit sour at my protestations, and she gave a huff before reaching for the keyboard and mouse to begin working on something. "If you've got stage fright like a little wimp that won't be a problem. There's this new software that can blur out faces using AI or something. Come and see, your face won't show up at all." Riley claimed. Her voice had already lost all of it's mirth and was full of contempt for me. She tapped a key and the tv split from showing just the screen showing her ad break message to half showing that and half showing the feed from the camera. The side with the ad break message still showed a stamp that declared it was the live broadcast, letting me know that whatever the camera was picking up still wasn't being shown to the viewers.
- Not quite sure of this technology I slowly and tentatively stepped into the camera's view, watching the tv to see how I showed up. And it appeared like Riley was telling the truth. As soon as I stepped forward and got my head into frame it blurred out the area around my eyes, though it left the rest of my face and body unobscured. "Huh, I guess they can do some real fancy stuff with this new tech." I granted, though my hesitations weren't fully relieved. It didn't fully hide my face, but it did at least make it almost impossible to tell it was me.
- "Just sit down here so I can talk you through how we are going to do this. I don't want to waste more time and lose the interest of my viewers." Riley complained to me, even more of her previous annoyance and brattiness returning to her voice. She even sneered a bit at me as she patted the spot next to her on the couch.
